Accomplished Indian-American filmmaker Mira Nair is on the lookout for actors for her upcoming project — an adaptation of Vikram Seth’s novel A Suitable Boy. According to sources, she has approached Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra with a role.

“Sanya has a great line-up of films, and she has now been approached for A Suitable Boy. Sanya is interested in doing content-driven films, and she likes this project, but she has not signed it yet,” a source says.

Sanya is currently busy shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Pataakha, which is slated for a September 28 release. It will be interesting to see if she chooses to collaborate with Mira.
