With Bhushan having vowed to get a bigger star to play Gulshan Kumar in the biopic, Akshay’s relationship with the company seems to be going bad.

If word’s to be believed, Akshay Kumar is unlikely to be a part of any Bhushan Kumar-T-Series project in the future. This is clearly indicated by the unpleasant turn the supertar’s relationship with the company’s head honcho has taken, after he opted out of Mogul.

The ambitious movie is Bhsuhan’s pet project, and is a biopic on his late father Gulshan Kumar’s life. When Akshay agreed to play Gulshan, the biopic acquired a certain heft and respectability.

Says a source, “We all know that Akshay not only enjoys a huge fan following, he also has the image of a national icon. His playing Gulshan meant that the biopic acquired respectability among audiences and in the market.”

The actor’s inexplicable exit from the project has left Bhushan irate. He vowed in public that he will get a “bigger” star to play his father. This has been seen as an open challenge to Akshay by many.

However, sources close to the actor say that he’s unlikely to react to the provocation. “Akshay has moved on. He didn’t feel comfortable playing Gulshan Kumar, and he returned the signing amount to T-Series,” says a source in the know.
