Shefali Shah who won many hearts as the high heeled society lady in Dil Dhadakne Do will soon be seen in a negative role in Deven Bhojani’s Commando 2. Producing it is her husband Vipul Shah. In the film’s trailer, the actress can be seen asking one of aides to pick up a gun and shoot another man — a far cry from her usual roles. Vipul insists that he had nothing to do with the transformation. He says, “As Shefali’s husband, I respect her profession and I know that she will always go by the script and her gut feeling. She doesn’t take up a role until it seems worthwhile to her. I know her enough to know that I can never coax her to accept a role just because she is my wife.”

Director Deven said, “I know she is an exuberant performer and I could see her in this role. Shefali was my first choice.”
