A sigh of relief is that John also doesn’t seem to be free to do a sequel immediately.

When a filmmaker is moving quickly from one project to another, certain films will definitely take a backseat. So, when Satyamev Jayate went on to be a rollicking hit, the makers Milap Zaveri, Bhushan Kumar, and Nikhil Advani  and the film’s hero John Abraham were gung-ho about the sequel.

But it does seem now that John will have to wait because Milap is busy with Marjaavaan starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Tara Sutaria.

“Milap has not yet got down to penning the sequel, so writing the film will take a while. That should only happen when he is done with filming his current film that is on the floors. Importantly, both the producers Nikhil and Bhushan should agree on the sequel idea to bankroll it. So, we guess there is some time to that,” says a trade source.

A sigh of relief is that John also doesn’t seem to be free to do a sequel immediately. The actor is working on films like RAW and Batla House, both with a dose of patriotism like his last two films Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Satyamev Jayate. So a sequel is certainly a sure-shot winner when announced, but that will take time.
