Ever since Arjun Kapoor’s debut with YRF Films with Ishaqzaade, there has been no looking back for this industry lad. He has seen the film industry from close quarters, and hence he is grounded. He will now be seen with his uncle, Anil Kapoor, in the upcoming Mubarkan. “I did not wish to work with my family members until I proved my worth, so I set out to learn and pave my path ahead. Now, when my uncle and my father wish to work with me, I feel I have earned this position without being a burden on them.”

Talking about the perks of being an actor, Arjun says, “I am privileged to belong to the film industry. I would not be able to quantify the perks, but I have seen success and failure as a kid with my family. People come and bless you and extend their liking for your work. And if we let success get into our heads, then the same people who have put you on the pedestal can bring you down as well.  Therefore, I can never allow success to be the reason for my downfall or contribute to a change in my personality.”

His family is his support system as he says that his aunt and his grandmother are always the ones praying for his success and well-being. Shedding light on his onscreen chemistry with Parineeti, Arjun said, “We both wanted to work together but wanted a good script. Dibakar sir got us together. We will start the preps for this movie post-Mubarkaan,” he concludes with a smile.
