Vidhu’s next to star a Kashmiri cast?

If there’s anything tentative on Vidhu’s part, it’s the film’s title. The source suggests, “The working title of the film could change to Chittiyan.”

Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra who has been writing a film on Kashmiri Pandits, tentatively titled Love Letters, will finally go on floors next month. The filmmaker, who last helmed Broken Horses in the capacity of a director, will helm the film. Our sources say, “The team will start shooting the film by March. Vidhu is looking to cast fresh faces from Srinagar and Kashmir. Vidhu is keen on getting Kashmiris on board since according to him, they will have the right accent, and also know the pang and miseries that Kashmiri pandits underwent.” In fact, the source goes on to add that the leading actress for the film is also said to be from Srinagar.
