The prolific director Priyadarshan is known to be a dab hand in both Hindi and Malayalam films. True to his form, the director now has four projects lined up in both these languages.

He reveals. “There is a road movie in Malayalam with Mammootty, whom I’ve not worked with for ten years, and a sports film based on athletics with Mohanlal again in Malayalam. I am committed to make both these films with the two great actors.”

In Hindi, Priyadarshan has two projects lined up. “One is a film called Bachchan Singh with Abhishek Bachchan. The other is the remake of Oppam, my Malayam film starring Mohanlal, with Ajay Devgn.”

So which of these four projects would Priyadarshan go into first? “I could do any of these films first. They are all very dear to me. Whether in Malayalam or Hindi, I enjoy doing films in both the languages.”
