Title for Dutt biopic still uncertain, says Dia Mirza

Actress-producer Dia Mirza, who will be seen essaying the role of Sanjay’s wife Manyata Dutt in the Sanjay Dutt biopic, can’t wait for the audience to see the film. Meanwhile, the title of the film is yet to be confirmed. And Dia reveals that nobody is certain about the title as of now.

“Everybody is confused — should we be calling it Dutt or Sanju. And no I can’t clear the confusion — don’t catch me until the producers clear it!” she laughs.

 “We are all very excited for the film. It has been a journey filled with great teamwork and some memorable moments. We just can’t wait for audiences to watch this film!” she excitedly adds.

The actress, who enjoys exploring different mediums, also spoke about her desire to explore digital platform. “The fact is that the future is in digital. We all know how much films struggle to make it to theatrical release. Digital is the future and we need to recognise that,” she explains.

Ask her will she be doing something on the digital platform, and her answer is affirmative. “Yes, you all will see me on digital platform soon. I plan on working extensively for the digital platform.”
