Diljit Dosanjh, whose Hindi movie Soorma is all set for release, says that he learned hockey to get into the skin of his character.

The actor, who will be seen as former Indian hockey captain, Sandeep Singh, in the movie, says it was a difficult film to make. “I’ve not played any games so far. Ifeel hockey is a tough sport to pick up. I’m very happy that in the second year of my Bollywood acting career, I’ve gotten to do a biopic like this one. We’ve all worked very hard for it.”

Actress Chitrangada Singh has also turned producer for the movie, and Diljit can’t stop gushing about her. “I am a huge fan of Chitangada, and yes, she has turned producer with this film. I wish she were also a part of this film. She’s a great producer who gives a free hand to her team.”
