The Karni Sena had called for Deepika’s nose to be chopped off and Bhansali to be beheaded for making Padmavati and allegedly distorting facts.

Ranveer Singh and the Padmavati team may well be following a gag order that the film has put on the cast and crew of the film at the moment following threats of physical attacks on Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The Karni Sena had called for Deepika’s nose to be chopped off and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to be beheaded for making Padmavati and allegedly distorting facts.

Ranveer returned to Mumbai after a short trip and when asked to react to the Padmavati controversy the actor replied with an “I am very tired, please!” It was not that the actor who was dressed in a spunky outfit was short of energy. He went on to sign autographs and click a barrage of selfies at the airport with his fans. He also said, “Padmavati Rocks” to his fans.

Interestingly, when the actor was clicking further selfies and one of his bodyguards pushed a fan behind, Ranveer even went on to reprimand the bodyguard saying, “Pehle bhi bola hai na aisa nahin karne? (Haven’t I told you not to do that earlier?)”

Ranveer’s concern for his fans may well force him to talk, but the gag order clearly stopped him from speaking about the film and the controversy, especially about the attack threat on alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
