Arhan Singh, the man who Virat-Anushka shamed, didn’t take it lying down. He took to Instagram to share his version of the story. He said Anushka was yelling like a “crazy roadside person”.

Anushka Sharma is at the receiving end of online hate once again. On Saturday, the actress’ husband Virat Kohli posted a video in which she was scolding a man in a luxury car for littering on the road. The video went viral but received mixed reactions on the Internet.

Arhan Singh, the man in question, didn’t take it lying down. He took to Instagram to share his version of the story. While he apologised for his carelessness, he made it very clear that he didn’t appreciate the lack of manners displayed by Anushka, whom he felt was yelling like a “crazy roadside person”.

He shared the screenshot of the video where his face was visible and urged Anushka to learn basic “verbal etiquettes ” of being polite. While accusing Virat of using this video as a publicity stunt, he wrote, “The garbage that mistakenly went out of the window of my “luxury car”... Was way less then the garbage that came out from your mouth... From ur “luxury car’s” window... Or the trashy mind @virat.kohli to shoot and post this online... For whatever gains... Now thats some serious trash!!! (sic)”

The entire saga just got more interesting with Arhan’s mother Gittanjali Elizabeth coming to his defence on social media. She called out the actress for her “cheap publicity stunt”.

The woman also accused Anuskha of not only shaming her son but also exposing him to hostility from the general public.
