Contrary to reports in a section of the media that the makers of the film Chandamama Door Ke are looking for a replacement for Sushant Singh Rajput because of the humongous budget of the movie, it turns out that the Kai Po Che actor is very much part of the ambitious sci-fi film. The movie being bankrolled by Eros and directed by National Award-winning director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

“There are no budget constraints for the film. Yes, there has been a delay because this is not a very easy film to make and the production work is quite enormous. Sushant had even gone to NASA to train for the film. The movie is very high on content and has other actors like R. Madhavan as well,” says a source close to the film.

Director Sanjay Puran Singh confirms that Sushant is still on board. “Yes, don’t believe any rumours. There is a major development in the film and we will announce that soon,” says the filmmaker.
