There has been a lot of noise, mostly from Kartik Aryan’s PR machinery, about Karan Johar having signed Kartik Aryan for a film. Rumour also has it that Kartik will be seen opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film.

However, sources at Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions call the claim premature. A source close to Karan Johar’s production house says, “We don’t know where this rumour originated from. But Kartik was merely considered and definitely not opposite Bebo (Kareena). Is Karan crazy to cast Kartik opposite Kareena?”

Apparently, the rumour gained currency after Kartik walked the ramp with Kareena for a leading fashion designer. Social media was abuzz with comments on how good the two looked together.  “Before we knew it, concocted, conjectural rumours of Kareena and Kartik being cast in a Karan creation were around. In truth, Karan has not even thought of casting Kartik, let alone casting him with Kareena,” says a source close to Karan. Maybe Kartik Aryan’s PR machinery needs to take it easy.
