Mumbai: Bollywood lovebirds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the nuptial knot in a traditional South Indian ceremony - per Konkani rituals on Wednesday. The couple also had a North Indian wedding on Thursday. Ranveer and Deepika had an intimate destination wedding in Italy's Lake Como with only close friends and family in attendance.

After keeping the entire country on hold for their wedding pictures for two days, the couple officially shared pictures from their marriage ceremony. Both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone shared the moments of nuptial bliss on social media with a heart emoji. And just like their million fans, Bollywood celebrities also wished Deepika and Ranveer and reacted to their wedding pictures on social media.
After six years of dating, the couple finally put the months of speculation to rest about their marriage with a social media announcement in October alongside their wedding dates. "We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty friendship and togetherness," they said in the announcement.
On Twitter, Anushka Sharma wrote: "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love and respect you have in each other, grow leaps and bounds and welcome to the club."
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar also tweeted: “Love and happiness forever.....these are such a full of pyaar wala pictures! For those of us who don’t have a life partner it’s a very “haiiiiiiiii” wala feeling!”
