Amyra Dastur, who stars alongside Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut in the upcoming film Mental Hai Kya, recently met with an accident while on set. She was shooting for a well-practised scene with Rao when she tripped and fell on some bricks, injuring both knees.

Though her co-star jokingly asked if she wanted mattresses to be laid down, in case she fell again, the team understood Amyra’s plight and wrapped up the shoot early.

Talking about the incident, Amyra says, “I wanted to use the pain and discomfort to better my performance in that scene. But I also knew that I had to have the wound cleaned and get a tetanus shot because there were little pieces of brick in there. The whole team was really sweet.”
