Recently, the actress appeared in a Bangladeshi soap brand's commercial where the famous 'RK' tattoo is nowhere to be seen.

This is a picture of Deepika's photoshoot for a magazine cover done in January 2017, and as it can be seen, the tattoo is not even faintly visible.

However, now we get you the diva's recent picture from Met Gala event held in New York, wherein, a tail of the tattoo can be seen right there on her neck.

This picture was posted by one of the actress' fan club page on Instagram.

Earlier, we thought that the tattoo goes invisible only when she is serving her professional commitments, else wise the tattoo is always right there on her neck. However, that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Apparently, the actress has permanently erased the marks of her past love affair with Ranbir Kapoor.

What caught our attention is her recent picture on her Instagram account, where we see her flaunting her back with a sandal in her hand with the ink completely missing from the nape of her neck. 

In the Bangladeshi ad too, the actress flaunts her uninked back.​

Seemingly, the actress has finally moved ahead with her past and has permanently erased the old memories.
