A sketch of actress Kangana Ranaut as Rani of Jhansi, from her upcoming movie, Manikarnika — The Queen of Jhansi, is doing the rounds on the Internet. In the photo, rumoured to be Kangana’s look for the film, the actress is seen sporting a Marathi-style turban and a nose ring. This photo was posted by the actress’ fan club on Twitter, and was captioned, “The conceptualise sketch. We got hands on from the workshop session of Manikarnika — The Queen of Jhansi. Shoot begins in the 1 week of June (sic).”
While there was no official confirmation from the filmmakers’ end, it did not stop people from sharing the look.
