The restrictions due to the lockdown necessitated by the pandemic have turned the spotlight on a minimalistic lifestyle.

While some have invoked their inner chefs, others have been enjoying tasty home-cooked meals, putting diet plans on hold.

Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 actor Sunny Singh belongs to the latter category. He shares how he has been relishing his mother’s cooking, something he wouldn’t otherwise have been able to enjoy owing to his strict workout regimens and dietary limitations.

“Ever since the lockdown began, I’ve been enjoying a lot of savouries from my mother’s kitchen at home. I love all the tasty food she cooks. She makes something new every day and since we have no schedules to be followed, I enjoy eating all of the food. Later on, to balance it out, I workout too.”

Talking about the dishes he’s been enjoying, he says, “In general, I like whatever my mother cooks. But I especially like her chat meals. I remember I had homemade samosas a couple of days back. I also love parathas and homemade mithai.  When it’s made I lose count of how many pieces I eat.”
