Despite reports, not only is the KriArj movie on track, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is also satisfied with her part in it.

There have been reports that KriArj Films has been going through a rather rough patch. The production house had scored a hat trick of hits in 2017 with Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Pad Man, but their upcoming movies Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Kedarnath have hit a roadblock. In fact, word was also that Batti Gul Meter Chalu was in trouble.

Now, there are reports of KriArj’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Anil Kapoor starrer Fanne Khan being stalled over non-payment of dues for the crew.

“Hogwash,” says a prominent member of the film’s team. “There are no dues. The film is nearly complete. We just need to shoot a song, for which we await the dates of a choreographer. There are also wild conjectures about Aishwarya being unhappy about the progress of Fanne Khan, which is
completely false.”

Sources say that the actress is “extremely gung-ho” about the film and her character in Fanne Khan. Aishwarya will also be doing a remake of Raj Khosla’s horror classic Woh Kaun Thi for the production house. Discussions on her looks and songs for the remake have already begun.

Incidentally, news about KriArj’s finances started when the production house got into a legal scuffle with John Abraham’s JA Entertainment over their collaboration Parmanu.

KriArj head Prernaa Arora remains undaunted. “We’re doing just fine despite efforts to bring us down. When a woman sets her mind to her job, nothing can put her down,” she asserts.
