Sanjay Dutt is known for doing his action sequences himself without ever using a body double. Now, after the brief spell of health issues, the actor is back at the action sequences for KGF 2 and is currently shooting in Hyderabad for the film’s climax fight scene.

A source close to the actor shared, “Sanjay Dutt has been on a roll lately. He recently finished shooting for Bhuj and is currently in Hyderabad shooting for KGF Chapter 2, which has a coal mine sequence in its climax and involves a lot of action. The makers of KGF suggested that Sanjay has a body-double considering his recent recovery. But he refused and performed the action sequences himself, which is what he’s usually done in his previous films too.”

The source also assures that Sanjay has healed from his ailment and is in perfectly good shape to take on the strenuous action sequences. The last schedule of the film had started this month with Sanjay shooting every day without a break.

Incidentally, Sanjay will be sharing screen space with Yash for the first time.

According to the source, however, it didn’t seem like Sanjay and Yash were shooting together for the first time. “As the shooting for KGF 2 progressed, they became more and more comfortable with each other and were often seen enjoying their time off the shoot as well, sharing life experiences and anecdotes. Both Yash and Sanjay have immense respect for each other and are having great fun shooting the intense climax of the film,” added the source.
