It looks like that the songs being used in the sequel are done in a different way, and whoever has heard the new version of Tumhe apna banana ki, can’t stop raving about it.

For Sadak 2, the most awaited sequel in the industry, the music is on course with many songs from Sadak being incorporated. Starring Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt, Sadak was one of the blockbusters of its time and songs like Hum tere bin, Zamaane ke.., Tumhe apna banane ki kasam and Jab jab pyaar pe pehra..were four of the biggest chartbusters in 1991.

It looks like that the songs being used in the sequel are done in a different way. It can be recalled that Hate Story 3 also featured a remixed version of Tumhe apna banana ki. However, whoever has heard the new version of the song can’t stop  raving about it.

“The songs of Sadak were done by Nadeem and Shravan. But the music in Sadak 2 is a notch higher and goes very much with today’s time. One has to note that there will be actors like Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the film. So the music has to go with their faces; it has to look and feel contemporary rather than just retro,” says a trade source.

The sequel too is shepherded by Mahesh Bhatt who is making a comeback into direction after over two decades of hibernation. This will be first time Bhatt will be directing his daughter Alia Bhatt. Sadak 2 is slated to release in March 2020 and also features Sanjay Dutt in the principal role along with Pooja Bhatt.
