Dabangg superstar Salman Khan, while promoting Bigg Boss’newest season, revealed an interesting anecdote about travelling by the institution that is the Mumbai local train.

“After attaining stardom, it becomes difficult for us to travel by Mumbai’s local trains and move freely on roads, etc. But let me narrate an interesting incident to you guys: When I travelled by local train, I would usually go to visit one of my friends in college who resided in town (South Mumbai) by taking a Churchgate local. But while returning home, it would get late and I had no choice but to board the last Virar-bound train, as I had to get off at Bandra. I would promise myself that I wouldn’t sleep in the train, as Bandra is a few stops from Churchgate, but the moment I sat next to the window seat, with that lovely refreshing breeze, I would nod off in a few seconds. To my surprise, when someone would wake me up, I found myself having reached the last station Virar. This has happened to me almost 20 to25 times,” the actor shared.

Salman also quickly dismissed rumours about his penchant for gifts, specifically the car that he reportedly gave to Katrina Kaif and the house to budding singer Ranu Mondal.

“Mera kuch bhi lena dena nahi hai (I have got nothing to do with this). I have problems living in one bedroom myself. Neither have I given any car to anyone nor have I gifted a house to anyone. Some piece of news claims these things, but it’s all rubbish. I think someone is trying to ruin me,” the actor concludes.
