Thugs Of Hindostan has destroyed all box records as it collected 52.25 crore net on the first day.

While no competition for Thugs Of Hindostan is seen at the North Indian box office, down South it is Tamil superstar Vijay’s Sarkar that opens two days prior.

The recently released Thugs of Hindostan starring Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles have got immense footfalls by the audience at the theatres.

Thugs Of Hindostan has destroyed all box records as it collected 52.25 crore net on the first day.

The previous record was 39.32 crore of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo if we count outright Hindi films only and 40.73 crore net if we include box office legend Baahubali - The Conclusion.

Thugs of Hindostan is also the highest single day in history as it beats the sunday numbers of Sanju.

The film has become a huge hit in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar circuits with multiplexes collecting earth-shattering numbers and single screens running house full across both circuits.

Looking at the box office collection, overwhelmed Aamir Khan shared, "Just heard the 1st-day collection of Thugs, I am humbled by the love and affection of the audience. Thank you."

Thugs of Hindostan also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.

With its edge-of-the-seat thrills and a visually immersive experience, YRF’s out and out entertainer Thugs of Hindostan released on November 8, a national holiday, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
