The cast for Bihari maths genius Anand Kumar’s biopic Super 30 has now expanded. The newest recruit on board is model-turned television actor Nandish Singh, who has been signed to play the role of Anand’s younger brother.
A source close to the project says, “Anand’s brother Pranav Kumar has always been his right hand, and his biggest support, right from the days when the mathematician began his campaign to educate underprivileged but brilliant students. It’s an important role, and one that requires someone younger than Hrithik, who could hold his own.”
Anand was apparently given the right to decide the casting for the part. “Nine actors were short listed, but Anand selected Nandish for his maasoomiyat (innocence) and imaandaari (honesty). Anand’s family is also a big fan of the serial Uttaran, in which Nandish was first noticed,” adds the source.
Word from the team is that the scenes between the two brothers will be shot in quite the Karan Arjun style, with lots of brotherhood, bonhomie and singing,
