Writer Zeishan Quadri is best known for his treatment of crime and gangster based movies. He, however, wants to step out of his comfort zone and direct a love story called Romeo Juliet.

“I want to make a love story, and that’s the script I’m writing. It’s titled Romeo Juliet. It’s a conscious effort to come out of my comfort zone, as I’ve done too much on gangsters. So, I thought ‘now let’s write a love story.’ The script is ready, but we’ve not decided on the cast yet. It will go on floors this year,” said Zeishan.

Having worked on Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur earlier, Zeishan went on to direct Meeruthiya Gangster next. The film, however, bombed at the box office.
