In one hand Ranbir is seen holding an axe while in the other hand, he is seen holding arrows. Ranbir's rugged look in this announcement promo is very thrilling and we honestly cannot wait to see what the film has in store for us.

Karan Malhotra, who previously helmed Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Agneepath' and 'Brothers', was willing to make an epic drama 'Shuddhi' under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, but the project faced many problems to take off. As it turned out, Karan has put that project on backburner and moved with 'Shamshera' with Yash Raj Films.

Interestingly, 'Shamshera' rumoured to have Sanjay Dutt playing the main villain opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Let's hope for the official announcement about rest of the cast soon including Ranbir's leading heroine in the film.

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a dacoit in YRF's next production titled, ‘Shamsher’. The film is produced by YRF and will be directed by Karan Malhotra. YRF and Ranbir are set to collaborate again for this action entertainer after 9 long years.

The makers have just released an announcement video featuring Ranbir Kapoor in a never seen avatar. He nails the thrilling look of a dacoit in the video. Ranbir is currently busy working on Ayan Mukerji's superhero trilogy ‘Brahmastra’, alongside Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. The actor will be next seen as Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju'.
