Remo D'Souza writes to Micheal Jackson’s kin for film rights

The filmmaker has been an ardent fan of the pop legend.

Choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D’souza’s reverence for pop legend Micheal Jackson is known to all. And while many may have nurtured the dream to put the singer’s life on the big screen, Remo has actually take his first step in the direction by writing to Jackson’s family.

He said, “MJ is famous all over the world. Everyone everwhere knows about him. I will surely make a biopic on him. The rights are not with me yet, it’s with Sony and with the family. But I have already mailed them about my desire to make the biopic. I am waiting for them to respond. This will be an international project for me.”

He further added, “It’s my dream to make this film but many things need to fall into place before that.”

It is undoubtedly an ambitious project with other filmmakers from Hollywood too eyeing the project. In such conditions, it will be interesting to see how Remo’s efforts shape up.
