Nawazuddin Siddiqui may have landed in a legal soup with his controversial memoir, An Ordinary Life, but on the professional front, the actor is still going strong.

As far as his memoir goes, Nawaz chose to withdraw it, after two of his former girlfriends accused him of manipulating stories. As far as his career goes, he has signed up for yet another powerful role. He will now be seen playing a criminal in an upcoming movie.

“Nawaz will be seen playing a criminal in his next, which is a thriller film,” a source close to the development says. “Tamannaah Bhatia has a prominent role in the same film, but Nawaz hasn’t been cast opposite her. The movie is expected to roll in February 2018.”

Kookie V. Gulati, who has earlier directed Prince, is apparently set to helm the film.
