After his last show on television wrapped up, actor Nikitin Dheer has moved down south and is focusing on films there. The actor currently has a film titled Mister in hand and has also signed another untitled project.

Talking about the same, Nikitin says, “I’m doing films in the south since they give me ample scope for performance and the industry is also quite organised.  The roles I’m offered match my personality. I think everyone has their own quality and maybe doing action movies could be mine. I enjoy action movies — it’s the kind of space I’m comfortable with. Also, in the south the culture is different, the work atmosphere is nice and accommodating, which alllows you space to grow as an actor. You learn so much from these people about life and their culture.”

Nikitin is someone who has explored his talent in both the mediums — films and television. After playing the character of Astika in his last show, which went off air recently, Nikitin is looking for something which has both shades of romance and action. But, can’t television provide that option? “Yes, of course. I think television is an amazing medium. However, me focusing on south films at the moment doesn’t mean that television will take a back seat. As matter of fact, having experience in film and television, I feel both the options are equally powerful and satisfying for an actor,” concludes Nikitin.
