Vidya Balan has often mentioned her love for the 60’s and 70’s era. The actress also chooses to go in a complete retro look for her 40th birthday donning a curly hair and green jumpsuit. Her husband and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur came up with the best possible surprise for her and used cutouts of the actress and pasted them on famous film posters from 1979.

Vidya couldn’t resist herself and posted: “I’ve often said I was born too late and that I would’ve loved to be an actor in the 60’s & 70’s. My special someone, #siddarthroykapur took me seriously and guess what!?? ... He got my face printed onto posters of some of the films that released in 1979, the year I was born.”
