Deepika Padukone who has been flying in and out of the US, apparently pursuing other prospects after XXX, resumes the shoot of Padmavati by the end of March.

A source says, “The battle scenes that Deepika is meant to perform in the film will take her to a new level of on-screen stunts. It’s what most female actors haven’t attempted in Bollywood before — a fierce warrior in a battle.”

It comes at time when Tamil-Telugu actress Anushka Shetty also will be seen pulling off some fierce stunts for Baahubali 2. Adds the source, “Deepika’s battle scenes in Padmavati however, would have to be way more complex and sophisticated than what the audiences will see in Baahubali 2.”
