Sonam Anand Ahuja is blissfully married and happy in her life and her love is visible every time she posts a picture with him or speaks about him. At a recent media interaction, the actress was asked about her first meeting with Anand Ahuja. While recalling that day, Sonam told how her shoes weren’t approved by her now husband.

“When I met Anand for the first time, I was wearing sneakers. According to Anand, I was wearing very odd and old fashioned shoes... Looking at my sneakers, he immediately quizzed ‘Arre yaar! Yeh kya sneakers phene huye hai tumne? (What kind of sneakers are you wearing?’. Then he requested me to stop wearing these sneakers and he immediately ordered for some good brand shoes for me, which were indeed very expensive as well,” says Sonam while adding that Anand always remains upset with her shoes.

But while Anand remains upset with her shoes, Sonam remains upset with his habit of keeping his hair short. “I find Anand very handsome. When I first met him, he had very thick hair but he does not like to have hair on his head as he is an intense exercise freak and during the course of exercise he feels very hot and gets irritated with his hair,” tells Sonam and adds that eventually, Anand gave in to her request. “Since I was continuously requesting him to grow his hair. He grew his hair. I saw him with full-on hair for the first time and since his hair had grown full length, watching it felt good.” But the saga doesn’t end here. “But, again the second time when I met him, he looked like a Yogi without any hair on his head and no beard too.”

Amidst these cute-banters, Sonam also goes gaga praising Anand. “Anand’s simplicity and humble nature is something that attracted me. He is not only simple by nature but also had loads of patience. He remains equally calm in every situation. I get angry very fast but he does not possess a single iota of anger in him. I have never seen him being angry. He is liberal and a wonderful human being,” says the actress.

Sonam also shared a piece of important advice for all those who wish to get married. “It is indeed a matter of great opportunity to be able to find a good partner in life, which is of utmost importance for all of us. We should never for any wrong reasons or being under any pressure or because of our increasing age [growing older] just get married hurriedly. You should wait for the right partner. Those parents who are reading this piece, I request them to not pressurize their children to get married soon or get married for whatever reasons,” she concludes.
