Two killed as car rams into pole at IP Estate
Two persons were killed while three others were injured when their car met with an accident in Central Delhi’s IP Estate area on Monday morning.

Five friends were on their way to CP from Laxmi Nagar when their car, which was allegedly being driven at a high speed, hit a divider, somersaulted and collided with an electric pole that fell on the vehicle damaging it in the early hours of Monday, said a senior police officer.
Eyewitnesses told the police that the driver of the car was trying to avoid a collission with a bike that was trying to overtake their vehicle but since the car was in a high speed, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Kashish’s car was parked in CP and the friends were going to drop him there when the accident happened.
He added that the driver and the person sitting in the front seat were killed, said a senior police officer.
The deceased, identified as Kashish Anand, who was driving the vehicle and Ayushi Gulati, were killed while their friends, identified as Manik Chadha, Shubojit and Shakun Sharma, who were sitting in the rear seat, sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment. Kashish and Ayushi were declared brought dead by the doctors.
