Swaraj India chief Yogen-dra Yadav on Wednesday accused his former party of using Delhi for political gains in other states.

Mr Yadav, once a prominent AAP ideologue and now the president of a newly-launched outfit, ins-isted that the AAP’s focus has majorly shifted to the poll-bound states of Gujar-at, Goa and Punjab. He said chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal is using “Delhi’s resource” to expand the footprint of his party, leaving the denizens of the capital in lurch.

The Swaraj India president, who was expelled from the AAP for alleged “anti-party” activities after he crossed swords with the party leadership last year, was also critical of Mr Kejriwal, AAP ministers and MLAs for “often being outside Delhi” at a time when the city was grappling with the outbreak of dengue and chikungunya.

“The AAP government is using Delhi merely as a stepping stone. They basically want to use Delhi’s resources, its visibility to step on to Punjab, Goa,” Mr Yadav told PTI .

Mr Yadav said after the HC order on L-G powers, the AAP has “lost all interest in governing”.
