After the liquor vends, Swaraj Abhiyan has on Saturday taken up the issue of a illegal hukka bar running in the national capital. The Aam Aadmi Party’s breakaway faction said it will organise a public hearing on September 25 in Rajouri Garden against a hukka bar in the area.

“The issue came to light when posters for an event titled ‘Ik Raat Waheguru de Naam’ was seen on official Facebook page of a bar in Rajouri Garden area of Delhi. When it came to the knowledge of local residents that liquor and hukka are being served in the name of Waheguru, they protested the hurting of religious sentiments and promotion of drugs and liquor,” a Swaraj Abhiyan statement said.

The Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav-led outfit said that even after repeated representations from local residents, Jarnail Singh, the MLA from Rajouri Garden, has not taken any action to address the issue. The outfit claimed that the seal on the bar has been removed in just 10 days.
