Man found dead in car, drinking likely cause
A 32-year-old man was found dead in a car in Southwest Delhi’s Dwarka Sector 8 on Thursday morning.

The police said the doors of the car, in which he was found dead, was locked and one bottle of liquor was recovered from inside the car.
The police suspects that the person might have died due to over drinking.
According to a senior police official, the deceased has been identified as Mahesh Sharma, who lived in Dwarka Sector 9 and was a driver by occupation.
On Thursday morning, a few people passing by the parked car saw Sharma lying unconscious on the back-seat. They started knocking and banging on the window but Sharma did not respond. The police who came to the spot as soon as they received the information and had to break open the car’s window to open the door.
The police then took Sharma to the nearest hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
“Sharma was found dead in his own commercial vehicle and prima facie there are no injury marks on his body. We have sent his body for post-mortem and can ascertain the exact cause of death only after getting autopsy reports,” said deputy commissioner of police Surender Kumar.
