A 20-year-old youth was arrested for allegedly raping and sodomising four minor girls in New Delhi’s Chankayapuri area.

The police said the accused had been sexually assaulting the minor girls over a month. A police source close to the investigation said a few more victims could approach the police on the same issue. He said that the accused, identified as Rony, is a resident of Chankayapuri.

“All the victims are aged between six and 10 years old. The accused had been living in the neighbourhood of the victims. The girls used to call him Bhaiya, but the accused had bad intentions. He sodomised and raped them and also forced his victims to have oral sex. One of the victims was hurt during one of his attempts,” the police said.
