The Delhi University, which released final cut-off list for Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board, with a dip of one to six per cent, began admissions for the remaining 3,330 seats on Wednesday.

However, the students are still left with the option of taking admission to B.Com. as compared to B.A. in the final cut-off. The admission to B.A. for the general category students, which was closed in the fourth cut-off list in two centres, has been re-opened in this list.

Out of the 25 centres, 14 Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board centres have closed admissions to B.A. programme for the general category students under the last cut-off list. Now, only 11 centres are left with about 3,330 seats.

“Students who have scored between 55 per cent to 71 per cent will be enrolled in these centres. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce and Janki Devi College have re-opened admissions under the fifth cut-off list with 71 per cent. Similarly, admissions for SC category to B.A. is closed in 13 college centres and the chances of admissions for the OBC students are intact,” a DU official said. Admissions for the general category students to B.Com. was closed in six centres.

But, according to Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board director Anju Gupta, the remaining seats are expected to be filled under the last cut-off.
