The Delhi BJP on Monday held a protest march and demonstration against the atrocities and killing of party workers in Kerala by CPM cadre. BJP workers were protesting against the killing of two Scheduled Caste party colleagues by CPM workers in Kannur district of Kerala last week.

The workers of Delhi BJP’s SC and South Indian Cell led by state in-charge Shyam Jaju and president Satish Upadhyay took out a protest march from party office to the CPM office near Gole Market.

Mr Jaju said that it is sad that Communists, though irrelevant in politics, have leashed a reign of terror over political opponents in Kerala since they came to power a few mon-ths back. “Earlier when the CPM was in power in Bengal, there too political violence was very common. We warn them that people of the country will not tolerate such atrocities anymore,” added Mr Jaju.

Mr Upadhyay said that Scheduled Caste workers of the BJP have been constantly at the receiving end of the political violence being done by the CPM after they came to power.
