: Indian Premier League Chief Operating Officer Sundar Raman has stepped down from his role on Tuesday. BCCI has reportedly accepted Raman’s resignation.

The reports added that Raman will officially leave the office on November 5.
Raman faced a lot of flak following the outbreak of IPL spot-fixing involving N Srinivasan’s son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals’ then co-owner Raj Kundra. Raman though managed to sail through for two years despit Supreme Court questioning his stand to continue in the role.
Sundar Raman's role was also questioned by the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha Committee.
However, following Shashank Manohar’s comeback as BCCI chief and what termed as ‘Operation Clean-up’, Sundar Raman has resigned as IPL COO.
