Sanju Samson stars in Kerala’s third win

Basil Thampy’s tidy 4/15 helped Kerala restrict Tripura for 111 runs. In reply Kerala found the target in the 17 th over with the loss of only two wickets.

Cheteshwar Pujara starred with a knock of 81 runs off 51 balls in Saurashtra’s 73-run victory over Jammu and Kashmir in another match.

In the third match, Jharkhand had a last ball victory over Rajasthan by eight wickets to tally 8 points with second-placed Saurashtra. Kerala lead the table with 12 points.

In Baroda, captain Gautam Gambhir managed to find some form as Delhi recorded their third straight win, beating Madhya Pradesh by four wickets in a Group C encounter.

Scores Madhya Pradesh 156/6 in 20 overs (N. Ojha 48, P. Sangwan 3/22) lost to Delhi 160/6 in 19.5 overs (G. Gambhir 38). Karnataka 160/6 in 20 overs (M. Taha 45) lost to Uttar Pradesh 161/5 in 19.1 overs (Prashant Gupta 48). Hyderabad 131/7 in 20 overs (R.P. Singh 3/15) lost to Gujarat 134/7 in 19.3 overs (Parthvi Patel 70). Tripura 111 in 19.5 overs (Basil Thampy 4/15) lost to Kerala 113/2 in 16.1 overs (Sanju Samson 56 not out, Rohan Prem 40).
