WTO deal gets Centre approval
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared ex-post facto the stand taken by India on food security at the last meeting of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) held in Nairobi.

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared ex-post facto the stand taken by India on food security at the last meeting of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) held in Nairobi.
“The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Mini-ster Narendra Modi, has given its ex-post facto approval for the appro-ach adopted by India at the 10th Ministerial Conference of the WTO held in Nairobi, Kenya during 15-19 December 2015,” said a statement.
India wants a perman-ent solution on the issue of public stock holding for its food security.
