Dealerships in Mumbai have even started deliveries with an on-road price of around Rs 1.12 lakh.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the fuel-injected Gixxer SF Fi. The bike is now available for booking at select dealership in nine cities. The bike is already available for sale at dealerships in Mumbai for Rs 99,662 (ex-showroom), while it is expected to arrive at Suzuki showrooms in Delhi and Bengaluru by the end of September.

The Gixxer SF Fi is exclusively available in the MotoGP edition colour scheme and the 220mm rear disc comes standard with the fuel-injected trim. Coming to the visual difference from the standard bikes, it just gets an Fi badge on the left side of the front fairing. Apart from that, the bike looks identical to the standard MotoGP edition Gixxer SF.

Fuel injection will surely improve the response of the engine, while the 155cc, air-cooled motor continues to deliver 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of torque. However, the effect of the advanced fuel system can be felt in the way the engine delivers the power and enhances the riding experience.

Other features of the Suzuki Gixxer SF Fi are also similar to the standard model, including the beefy 41mm front forks, 7-step adjustable rear monoshock, fully digital instrument cluster, sporty dual-port exhaust muffler, 3-split-spoke alloy wheels and a fat 140/60 section rear tyre. Along with all these traits, the addition of fuel injection makes the bike around Rs 8,000 - 9,000 costlier as compared to the non-Fi MotoGP edition with rear disc brake.
