Mumbai: Cyrus Mistry, who was on Monday sacked from Tata Industries at its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), on Tuesday said that there exists no good governance at Tata group.

In his yet another veiled attack on Tata Group patriarch Ratan Tata, Mistry while referring to the tea-to-chemicals conglomerate said, “Good governance thrown to the wind, replaced by whims, fancies and personal agenda.”

Mistry who has over the weeks since his ouster from Tata Sons refused to resign from Tata Group companies has told Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) shareholders that his fight was to save the company.

“I am fighting to save the soul of Tata Group,’ he said.Tata Group led by Ratan Tata after ousting Mistry from Tata Sons has been pressuring him to step down from group companies where he is still holding key positions. Tata Sons is the parent of all Tata group companies whose chairman sits at the 'corner office' of the iconic Bombay House.
