Kolkata: California-headquartered Interra Information Technologies (InterraIT) has teamed up with Gautam Buddha Nagar District authorities to collaborate across the district on fighting sexual harassment and women abuse. The global software consulting company is open to replicating the same model in other cities and district towns across the country.

With its headquarters in California, US, InterraIT's operations are currently spread across five countries, with a sales network spanning the US, Canada, the UK, India and Japan. The company has two state of the art development centers in India, which are the focal point in servicing its esteemed customer base across the globe.

The company has development centres in Noida apart from Kolkata and clients across the globe. InterraIT will develop software and App and provide training to fight and redress sexual harassment and gender abuse issues.

InterraIT has an existing cell of anti sexual abuse and harassment already.

The district authority wants the software, mobile app and trainings to forge into a complete package to fight and redress these issues across the district and in all verticals — public and private sector organisations, academic institutes, all other workplaces.
