Centre vows more action on reforms

The government on Tuesday promised more economic reforms and policy initiatives in the coming months.

“The government committed to continue refo-rm measures and policy initiatives. More action in coming months,” economic affairs secretary Shaktikanta Das said in a series of tweets.

Finance secretary Ashok Lavasa in a tweet said: “GDP numbers, sign of times, CGA figures, statement of good financial management. A good monsoon should bring cheer and the government’s resolve boost confidence”. He said government would push the growth further.
