BMW drives in 620d Gran Turismo at Rs 63.90L

Locally produced at the company's factory in Chennai, the BMW 620d Gran Turismo diversifies the model's diesel portfolio in the country.

The company already sells two diesel variants and one petrol trim of the model.

Pune: BMW, India's second biggest German luxury car maker, on Wednesday launched a new diesel variant of BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo sedan in India priced at Rs 63.90 lakh.

Locally produced at the company's factory in Chennai, the BMW 620d Gran Turismo diversifies the model's diesel portfolio in the country.

The company already sells two diesel variants and one petrol trim of the model. The BMW 6 GT is already available in the 630d GT diesel Luxury Line and M Sport trims.

The BMW 620d Gran Turismo is the most affordable variant in the 6 Series GT line-up and is available in the Luxury Line trim packing in all the comforts.

"With the launch of the first-ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, we created a new segment in the Indian luxury car market," Hans-Christian Baertels, President at BMW Group India, said.

The BMW 620d GT is powered by the 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin turbo diesel engine tuned for 188 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque.
