The new Bajaj Dominar competes with the likes of the KTM Duke 390, the Royal Enfield bikes, BMW G 310 R, and the TVS Apache RR 310.

The new Dominar 400 has received the most substantial update since its launch in 2017.

Pune: Bajaj Auto, India's third-largest manufacturer of two-wheelers, has introduced the much awaited 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400, the sports tourer, priced at Rs 1.74 lakh.

The new Bajaj Dominar competes with the likes of the KTM Duke 390, the Royal Enfield bikes, BMW G 310 R, and the TVS Apache RR 310.

What is interesting is that even with the tiny price hike of about Rs 11,000, the Dominar still undercuts most of its competition.

The new Dominar 400 has received the most substantial update since its launch in 2017. For 2019, changes come in the form of a more powerful DOHC engine, reworked suspension, and more.

"Dominar 400 has been able to create a strong following for itself and has become the preferred choice for city riders and long distance tourers alike," Sarang Kanade, president, motorcycles at Bajaj Auto, said.
