‘Why are you provoking’

Ever since Salman Khan made his first public appearance with his rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur at Preity Zinta’s wedding reception, speculation about his wedding has been at an all-time high. Some say it will be an October wedding, while some others are going with December. The Khan family has been on the receiving end of some poking around and recently, Sohail Khan lost his cool when a scribe tried to approach his father Salim Khan, as they were leaving a restaurant after a late night dinner. Reportedly, Sohail yelled at the cameraman and asked him to turn off the camera. According to Salman, however, his brother did nothing wrong.

Addressing the media at a press conference, Salman said, “I don’t think he misbehaved.” The superstar was visibly irked. He continued, “The other day I was coming out of the airport, one journalist stuck her mic in my friend’s face, he just moved it aside and said, are you an idiot ’ My father is 80-something. You cannot come and stick a mic in front of him. What if he falls This happened with Sohail. Please don’t try this stuff with me. If my brother is concerned about my father, he’s not abusing you. He’s just feeling s**t about the whole incident. If you guys had behaved yourselves, that wouldn’t have happened. Why are you provoking What is this ridiculous statement you wanted to find out about At 12 in the night you wanted to know if I am getting married ”

His irritation notwithstanding, the scribes didn’t want to let go of the marriage topic altogether. When probed further Salman said, “It’s my thing (wedding). I don’t even know your name, why should I tell you If I want to get married, I will. I won’t tell you about it. I would tweet it, put it up on Facebook. It’s for me, my family and my fans.”
