Even as Salman Khan’s Sultan continues to shatter records at the box office, director Ali Abbas Zafar threw a party for his close friends, which included Katrina Kaif, Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur. Curiously, however, the Sultan’s star himself was nowhere to be seen at the intimate get-together.

Earlier at an event, Ali had confessed that he would love to work with Katrina and it seems a new project is in the works. They were seen bonding well at the party and that is hardly a surprise, given that he and Katrina go back a long way, to their Mere Brother Ki Dulhan days.

We hear that Ali, Kabir and Mini will soon be attending another party and this time Katrina will be playing host. The occasion Well, Katrina turns 33 on July 16 and she wants to spend the day with family and some of her closest friends. Her guest list also includes Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her Baar Baar Dekho co-star Sidharth Malhotra.
